Your guided tour begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a journey to the Seltun geothermal area. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the distinctive scent of sulfur that characterizes this unique environment. FAGRADALSFJALL VOLCANO

Next, your adventure leads you to the renowned Fagradalsfjall volcano, just outside Grindavík. Prepare for a rewarding moderate hike of 60 minutes one way, totaling 120 minutes of exploration. This hike is the centerpiece of your tour, as you traverse the rugged terrain toward a stunning viewpoint. Along the way, you’ll be captivated by the volcanic landscape, leading to breathtaking views of the volcanic crater and the surrounding areas. Upon reaching the viewpoint, you’ll have the chance to take in the spectacular sights and then explore the lower lava fields, where the ground remains extremely hot and steaming, heightening the adventure. LOCAL RESTAURANT

After the hike we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant, where you will have a chance to choose between a variety of Icelandic local dishes ranging from soups, sandwiches and local fish meals. Lunch is also the only thing on the tour that is not included.
