This trail ride boasts a variety of natural, technical single-track and fast, flowy trails—perfect for advanced riders seeking a true challenge. The terrain features steep descents, loose gravel, narrow paths, and ever-changing landscapes, including bubbling geothermal spots, lava fields, waterfalls, rivers, and steamy mud pools. Reykjavik Hotel Pickup (we’ll pick you up directly from your Reykjavik hotel or accommodation)
Schedule & Route:
- Your guide will collect you from your Reykjavik and transport you to Hveragerði, where you will be provided your e-MTB, helmet, and safety briefing. Transport time takes around 45 mins to the destination.
- Your guided private adventure starts with a variety of natural, technical single-track and fast, flowing trails in this experience makes it a superb choice for advanced riders. Situated in the Hengill area, the terrain offers diverse landscapes and continuously changing trails, creating a dynamic riding environment that will keep even seasoned riders engaged.
- This trip is intended for experienced riders ONLY, who possess strong technical skills and are comfortable tackling steep, loose, and narrow trails. While there are no jumps or gaps, the natural trails can be quite challenging for those accustomed only to smooth, man-made terrains.
- Enjoy a leisurely 1-hour lunch break at a cozy local café in Hveragerði, sampling Icelandic cuisine and relaxing.
- Return to Reykjavik, enjoying the scenic ride along the way, and be safely dropped back at your hotel or accommodation.

Icelandic weather conditions can change in an instant, it is common to experience all 4 seasons in one day, it is highly recommend to bring adequate clothing to suit all conditions for the experience. They can of course just be left in the transportation if not needed.
