ARRIVAL
Your layover journey begins with a convenient pickup directly from Keflavík International Airport (KEF). You will be greeted in the arrivals hall by your friendly driver and guide, who will ensure a smooth and personalized start to your tour.
BRIDGE BETWEEN CONTINENTS
Your first stop is the famous Bridge Between Continents, where you stand on the dividing plate boundary between North America and Eurasia. Walk across this unique geological site and touch both continents — a rare experience on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge that rises above sea level.
REYKJANES LIGHTHOUSE
Next, visit the historic Reykjanes Lighthouse, built after the original in 1878, perched atop rugged sea cliffs formed by lava flows from the 1800s. Marvel at the powerful Atlantic Ocean crashing against the cliffs and witness the continuous erosion shaping this dramatic coastline.
GUNNUHVER
A short drive brings you to Gunnuhver Hot Springs, Iceland’s largest geothermal area. Observe bubbling mud pools and fumaroles, and learn the legend of Gunnuhver — a haunted site rich in geothermal activity that was once used by settlers for warmth and cooking.
BRIMKETILL
Visit Brimketill, a natural lava erosion pool along the coast where the fierce Atlantic waves crash against the rocks. If you’re lucky, you might spot seals swimming through kelp or enjoy the spectacular scenery of lava meeting the ocean in a dramatic display of Iceland’s raw power.
LOCAL LUNCH
After an exciting morning we will stop for lunch at family owned restaurant in Keflavik or the Sky Lagoon bar where you will have a chance to choose between a variety of Icelandic local dishes ranging from local soups to sandwiches to proper fish meals. Lunch is also the only thing on the tour that is not included in the price.
SKY LAGOON
Experience the world-famous Sky Lagoon, where all your worries will melt away. This stunning infinity pool offers breathtaking views of the fjord and the city of Reykjavik. Indulge in the unique Icelandic 7-Step Ritual, which includes a refreshing cold plunge, a soothing sauna, a relaxing mist room, an invigorating salt scrub, a steam room, rain showers, and a rejuvenating geothermal bath. Spend a few hours unwinding in this serene environment, making use of the swim-up bar, and enjoying a splash under the magnificent hot waterfall.
Booking of the Sky lagoon tickets is an optional extra, and can be added in the checkout. You can choose between the Pure Pass and the Sky Pass. The Pure Pass includes entry ticket, towel and the 7 step ritual. The Sky Pass includes entry ticket, private changing facilities, towel, and 7 step ritual.
